Gillian Naylor
Gillian Naylor has painted wildlife for over 20 years. She particularly enjoys capturing an animal’s personality as well as its physical form.
She mainly works in gouache, watercolour, pastel and oils. Gillian is entirely self taught and enjoys the freedom that a less structured education in painting has brought. She is comfortable using whatever medium works.
As well as painting commissions, Gillian has exhibited in a number of exhibitions throughout the UK, including NEWA.
This year Gillian is delighted to announce that she is the winner of the “World Mammals” category in the BBC Wildlife Artist of the Year Competition, with her painting, “Tamarin”.
